ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN, March 26, 2019 — CampDoc, the leading electronic health record system for camps, is excited to announce a new partnership with Waldo Photos, an Austin-based startup that uses facial recognition to find and deliver photos. CampDoc and Waldo Photos, whose shared passion for the camping industry is long-standing, will provide a seamless solution for camps to share camper photos with families using industry leading technology.
“We are delighted to work with CampDoc and help support their camps and families,” said Rodney Rice, CEO of Waldo Photos. “We strive to make Waldo as user-friendly as possible, and our integration with CampDoc will provide for an even more seamless experience.”
Camps who use the CampDoc platform will now have a quick and easy way to integrate with Waldo Photos. Using single sign-on (SSO) capabilities, this direct integration will provide a simple process for families to setup and access their Waldo account. A family simply uploads a camper photo into their Waldo account, and Waldo will match the camper’s face to all photos that are uploaded by the camp, and deliver them instantly to the camper’s family via text or in-app notification.
“While many campers experience homesickness at camp, we know that parents often have similar feelings, missing and worrying about their children while they’re away,” said Dr. Michael Ambrose, Owner and Director of CampDoc. “We are very excited to partner with Waldo Photos to help parents see their children having fun at camp without having to sort through an unorganized album of pictures.”
CampDoc is the most comprehensive solution to help ensure the health and safety of children while they are away at camp. Facial recognition photo sharing will offer an added benefit to the CampDoc suite of products, which also includes their flagship electronic health record and online registration system.
